The Party Thai

Planning my wedding was a little harder than I thought, so my sister volunteered to help. We did a lot of shopping for my accessories. We must have covered every shop in town. The yellow pages had a long list that we decided to check out too. But, nothing seemed to be what I was looking for. Not to mention the high cost of everything at these bridal shops. I put on my list of all the things I needed to purchase. With very little time left, we still had a lot of work to do. Then my sister decided to check online for wedding accessories. She found so many great items for our wedding, including decorations and reception supplies.

We found lots of wedding and reception ideas for different types of weddings. We saw a lot of ideas for themed weddings and receptions too. There were exquisite wedding decorations and some very nice  wedding garters to choose from. The low price certainly didn’t match up with their high quality looks. I found some exquisite wedding garter belts to choose from and some came with a free tossing bridal garter. It was a little difficult picking out the ones I wanted because there were so many to choose from. There were also a few selections of tossing garters sold separately. There were all kinds of styles of lacy, decorated garters with pearls and some with little hearts. The one I chose had very small pearls and a beautiful satin ribbon with roses. It’s a very lovely set.

I also got my veil, tiara and a few other bridal accessories from there. It was an exquisite veil with pearl and ribbon trim. My gold tiara went perfectly with my veil and had little pearls all through it. I was surprised to find out that they also carry tiaras for birthdays and bachelorette parties. There are a lot of accessories for celebrations other than wedding ceremonies and receptions. You should see all the different styles of party favors there are. There are favors for birthdays, girls night out parties, graduations and of course, wedding receptions.

Just about every accessory needed for our wedding and reception party, I found here online. I was really impressed with the church and reception party decorations they had. There were beautiful flower arrangements everywhere and satin ribboned bows at the end of each pew. I also bought a unity candle that came with beautiful tapered candles and candle holders. Everything for our wedding ceremony, including our guestbook and pen set came from there. They also had plenty of accessories for our reception too. The wedding cake topper I bought looked very impressive atop our wedding cake. I had bought lovely crystal glasses for all our reception tables.

Everyone seemed impressed by the little thank you favors I picked out. They had very nice favor gift boxes for each of the wedding favors. They actually added to the décor of our reception. There were a lot of super suggestions for wedding reception centerpieces there too. I’m just so glad I took my sister’s advice and went online to search for wedding and reception accessories, it helped me to find everything I needed and I was able to save money too. There were a lot of discount prices on several of the wedding and reception accessories.

I found a section that has items for the perfect destination wedding and destination honeymoon too. We considered a destination wedding, but with all the friends and family counting on spending this day with us, we couldn’t disappoint them. Our special day was as spectacular as we had hoped it would be, thanks to all the lovely wedding suggestions we had to work with.

There is a long list of things to buy when planning a wedding and reception. Invitations are the first thing on you list after you’ve decided on a date and location. There is a variety of invitations to choose from. You can get the traditional, romantic invitations, or go with a theme, like a beach wedding. I chose the beach themed invitations.

I was able to find all the beach themed accessories I needed, from invitations to wedding favors. They had a huge list of groovy wedding decorations. I bought quite a few of the exquisite gel candles for our reception tables. I thought the little seashell place card holders I bought were such a unique idea.

There was also some pretty unique ideas for wedding favors that represented our beach wedding. I couldn’t make up my mind which I liked best, the tea lights or the picture frames for the beach favors. Since, I obviously couldn’t have both, I went with the tea lights. I just couldn’t resist them. I liked them so much, I bought two of them for my house. Not only is there a lot of choices for reception décor, but there is quite a few suggestions for wedding decoration ideas also. You should see the groovy assortment of flower girl baskets and ring pillows I found. I even got my veil and tiara from there. In fact, I bought most of our accessories and reception supplies there. They have a great selection to choose from, and some items were at discount prices. It’s nice to have a place to shop for wedding accessories that won’t strain your budget.

What’s nice too, is the fact that you can find accessories for almost any theme you can think of. I particularly like the seasonal accessories and decoration ideas. I would have chosen the winter wonderland accessories if we were having our ceremony in the winter months. The winter wonderland accessories were so gorgeous. But, for July I chose my favorite, an ocean side theme. I have to say, it turned out fantastic. We all had a great time and our guests commented on what a wonderful reception and wedding accessories we had. Our wedding cake topper became a topic of discussion. It was a lovely cake topper of the bride and groom on the beach.

They also had something nice to say about our beach themed champagne glasses. From the cake server set to the centerpieces on all the tables, everything looked fantastic. I also was able to find some very beautiful favor boxes, perfect for an ocean side reception. I can’t believe I got all of these super accessories and supplies online. And the prices were so affordable. I never knew shopping online could be so easy and convenient, or that I’d find so much just by browsing. I wish I would have known about this when I was planning my friends baby shower, they had all kinds of accessories and decorations for that too.

I knew I’d have plenty of pictures of the wedding and reception, so I purchased two of their beautiful albums. I found two gorgeous photo albums with scrapbooking and a special place for my keepsakes inside. They have everything you can think of for your wedding and your reception.

Someone had something nice to say about everything from our  wedding decorations to the our gorgeous reception. There was a lot of couples kicking up their heels on the dance floor and having a great time. It was a little hard to leave such a great time with our friends and family. But it was time to start on our fabulous honeymoon. This is especially exciting for me, because I’ve never taken a trip like this before, and now I’m going there for my honeymoon. I have a feeling this is the start of many years of excitement and happiness to come.
