The Party Thai

You could hear the wedding bells ring as we headed for our car, with our guests yelling their good wishes and tossing rose petals our way. That was the type of wedding ceremony we had. There was such a wonderful collection of accessories to help plan our wedding and make our ceremony so perfect. We had the best in wedding accessories and reception supplies to make it all a dream come true.

Everything from the lovely invitations to the groovy party favors for our guests was in their wonderful collection of wedding supplies. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I found a lovely ring pillow and flower basket set that I also ordered from them. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. Five items bought as a group, that cost a lot less than you would think.

I also picked out an aisle runner along with other accessories for our wedding. The process of selecting bell wedding was really a exquisite one. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. I thought that was a great idea.

I didn’t just order things for my ceremony, I also ordered everything I needed for our reception too. There were all kinds of wonderful ideas for our wedding reception. I wanted our reception tables to shine with elegance, so the first thing I ordered were the crystal toasting flutes. I chose the bride and groom toasting set for us and champagne flutes with elegant twisted stems for our friends and family. Wedding bell favors really made our tables shine with elegance, and I thought it would be a nice gift for our guests as a little something extra to show our appreciation.

I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. We gave out glass coasters as wedding favors for our friends and family. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I also chose these very elegant looking favor boxes with a little thank you tag on them, for the wedding favors. The shiny gift boxes added that extra sparkle to our guests tables. There were also some very unique centerpieces on our reception tables, made up of flowers and candles, that I bought online.

At the end of the reception hall was our wedding cake on a special little table. Three tiers of luscious chocolate and cherries with a gorgeous wedding cake topper as the crowning glory. I really fell in love with the cake topper I bought, with it’s attractive little ribbon made into a bow at the bottom of the heart with calla lilies added. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. We have quite a few pictures of the the cake cutting and sharing of the first piece. I have pictures of our friends and family, the ring boy and flower girl on the dance floor together and our first dance as husband and wife.

The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. I told my husband that I would really like to do this again someday for one of our anniversaries, and he agreed that it’s a good idea.

We planned a small party for our daughters first communion last week. I planned on giving our guests exquisite communion favors to mark this special party. So, I checked out a lot of religious shops and even book stores but still couldn’t find anything that seemed just right. So I hit the internet in search of the right favors for her party. I did find a nice selection of candles for our tables. I chose decorative tins filled with candy for the grown ups and the children received candies packaged in groovy little teddy bear containers as their holy communion favors. As extra party favors I ordered these really sweet religious picture frames with a silver cross. I also ordered a couple extra of them for our house, to put my childrens pictures in.

Shopping for her communion dress was like a rehearsal for the future. I know that day isn’t as far ahead of us as I would like it to be. All she needed was a little bouquet and she would look exactly like a tiny little bride. I guess a wedding reception and communion party isn’t all that much different. We had a cake decorated for the occasion, hired a band and made a buffet of different foods for the guests. We didn’t want to lose the fact of the importance of this special day, but we also wanted to make this party a memorable one. We had lots of pictures taken at the party and we bought her a beautiful pink album for storing the memories of her communion day. We didn’t have a caterer or anything real fancy, it was all home cooked food and some of the other moms helped with preparing the meal. There were at least four different kinds of salads, including a great tasting potato salad, and vegetable dishes, fried chicken and more. We had a fantastic dinner to share with our family and our best friends. It turned out to be a very nice evening and everyone seemed to have a good time, including our daughter. Her father and I had her name engraved on a beautiful gold cross we ordered for her, and there were many wonderful communion gifts she received from our guests, too.

All during the party I was picturing her wedding day and I could see my little girl walking down the aisle to join her husband to be. Someday, not too far away, we’ll be filling out invitations and picking out wedding accessories together. At least when it does come to that, I’ll know where to send her for her wedding supplies and accessories for her reception. They have so much to offer in the communion favor section and it’s the best place to shop, there is also whole line of wedding accessories. She’ll have plenty of accessories and wedding favors to choose from at my favorite online shopping site. They carry a lot more than communion favors and accessories for weddings. I hung onto this website because I can use their accessories and decoration selections for birthdays and graduations I’ll be planning in the future. They have accessories for baby showers, bridal showers and some great ideas for a girls night out parties. There were even fantastic accessories for themed weddings like, beach, winter wonderland, country western and so many more. Anything you want for the perfect themed shower or birthday party is available, and the choices of accessories are really fantastic. It’s a good thing I know the perfect online shopping store, I’m sure I’ll have a lot of opportunities to use it.

There was an excellent choice of wedding accessories to choose from. They supplied me with most of my wedding and reception décor. But when I was looking for the bridesmaid gifts, I couldn’t make up my mind which of the groovy items would be the best. There were so many exquisite ideas for thank you gifts for the bridesmaids. My fiance had no problem finding exactly what he wanted for his groomsmen gifts. He found some very nice shot glasses he liked and that was what he chose to buy for the guys. With me, I’m on there everyday looking at the selection over and over again, trying to make a decision.

I’d decide on the jewelry boxes and then the lovely bracelet they have would side track me and I’d start considering that. Thank goodness it was much easier picking out our items for the ceremony and reception party. I already had what I wanted, in mind, for those accessories. I got all the bridal accessories I needed for our lovely fall themed wedding. They had everything to go with the fall colors and décor I wanted. They had flower baskets and ring pillows in beautiful fall designs. Not only did I order all of my accessories for the reception, but I sent for my flower girl basket and added on a beautiful aisle runner as well.

For our reception there were so many great suggestions and designs for fall accessories. Not only were there lovely place card holders, but really exquisite wedding favors and boxes for packaging them in. Our friends and family are going to love the favors we bought for them. But I also ordered one for me as a little momento of our special wedding day. They were such lovely little glass coasters. I also bought our wedding cake topper from there and had no problem picking out the one I liked the best. I really loved the gorgeous storybook toppers, but I chose a lovely glass heart with our names on it. If a storybook were to be our wedding theme, there was one storybook topper I would definitely have used. I would have been ordering the castle topper for a storybook wedding. It was really special and would have fit right in with a storybook themed wedding.

If I had no problems choosing all my accessories and reception supplies, why did I have such a hard time picking a bridesmaid gift idea? They even had discount prices for a lot of accessories and gifts. You could even find gifts for bridesmaids that you could pick up at a discount. After a while I shortened my list of possiblities down to two. On one hand I had the idea of the jewelry boxes and on the other was the lovely designed bracelets. Even though I had it narrowed down to only two items, it still took me a little longer to make that final decision. But low and behold, I did make that decision. My final decision was to give my bridesmaids the jewelry box and the lovely bracelet. I decided my bridesmaids were getting two thank you gifts from us, the jewelry box and the bracelet. Why not, it’s not that expensive and I feel they deserve it.

Our wedding day was all I had hoped it would be. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. Our friends and family really liked the wedding favors they received and made comments on the lovely ceremony we had. The guys loved the shot glasses and my bridesmaid gifts were a success too. This day will live in my memory forever.
