I was laying on the sofa reminiscing about the days when I felt lovely and looked cool, back in my twenties. I had a lean body, and I loved to work out. We saw a exquisite handkerchief that was so elegant, that I decided this is what I want to give my guests for a wedding favor. I also thought that I could get one for me on my wedding day. I seen a exquisite silk handkerchief that was so beautiful. I was positive that my family and friends would like the cotton handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a lace handkerchief as a wedding favor for all my guests.
Everything was falling into place. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I needed to figure out what kind of food I was going to have at my shower. I was going to have it catered, but it was way too expensive for my budget. While looking through my recipes, I came across some of the best dishes, that I know me and my sister could prepare. We ordered the cake at the bakery down the street. Everything was ready. I found these great invitations and sent them out. Now it was a waiting game, waiting for the day of the shower.
My shower day was here and me and my sister went to the hall early to set everything up. It did not take long to decorate the hall. When we were done decorating the room, we couldn’t get over how awesome the room looked. I made sure that I took a picture to remember how great it looked. The cake was on the table with the food and each table had a center piece. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. If you were to walk in the room, you would think how gorgeous it looked.
I had such a good time with my family and friends after they arrived. We all had such a good time. We enjoyed the games and feasted on some good food. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. The shower was coming to a end and I wanted it not to end, because we were all having a good time.
When it was time for my guests to leave, they commented how much of a good time they had and were happy to get the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. My shower was a success and will be in my memory always. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. You can definitely call their wedding exquisite with all the heart wedding accessories they had for decoration. The presents, the invitations, the whole nine yards, all of the things in their wedding had a heart decoration of some kind on it. The precious hearts wedding invitations they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. With the silver on them, they were rather striking. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. Hearts were on the sides of the church pew where the wedding tulle was attached. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. All the centerpieces were bouquets of gorgeous red and white roses, with little hearts sticking out of each one, and they had little silver hearts wedding place card holders at each table setting. The table settings glittered with glasses for wine and champagne. She did an awesome job of designing the place settings at the reception. There were customized wine glasses with the date of the wedding and the names of the couple, along with crystal champagne flutes. For the bride and groom, there were a couple of very richly adorned champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
They had a little magnificent hearts wedding cake with five layers of heavenly confection. It looked as good as it tasted. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She picked it out on the web; in fact, it was the same site she purchased her other supplies and things for the wedding from. From a few pictures of the two of them, they created a look-alike cake topper figurine for each of them; it was very impressive. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
It turned out to be a gorgeous wedding heart. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. A very original idea for them to think of, I felt. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. I know hearts are the a perfect choice for a Valentines Day wedding, but I was impressed with all the gorgeous decorations and accessories she found for everything. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That could work great on a birthday cake or maybe even a graduation cake, not just a wedding cake. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. When they get back home, I’m anxious to look through their pictures with them, and hear about all the fantastic things we saw and did in Mexico. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.
