Being my first time being married, I wanted to plan a picture perfect wedding shower. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. My sister agreed to help me and was excited about it. Planning a wedding shower is time consuming, but I couldn’t wait to start planning it. This was not my first time planning a shower and I knew how great my shower would be. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found a hall close by my home. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. Everything was falling into place. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. We ordered the cake at the bakery down the street. Everything was ready. I found these great invitations and sent them out. Now it was a waiting game, waiting for the day of the shower.
It was the day of the shower and I and my sister went to the hall early to set the tables and decorate. We had the hall decorated in no time. When we were finished decorating, the hall looked so good. Luckly I bought my camera with me because I wanted to remember how gorgeous the room looked. We decorated the tables with a centerpiece and put the cake on the food table. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. If you were to walk in the room, you would think how gorgeous it looked.
I had such a good time with my family and friends after they arrived. My guests enjoyed each other’s company. We enjoyed the games and feasted on some good food. My guests talked about how much they enjoyed getting a handkerchief. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. It made me sad when the shower was ending, because I really enjoyed myself and my guests did to.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. I was so happy that I picked the handkerchief for my wedding favors. This day turned out so good and will be remembered for a life time. I am glad that my sister was so helpful in planning the shower with me. It made me feel good that she was by my side through this. That is the reason she is my maid of honor.

All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park.
