Picking out the accessories for my ceremony and the supplies for my reception wasn’t half as hard as trying to choose something nice for my bridesmaids. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. I went online and there are quite a few lovely gifts for bridesmaids and all that attend the reception. Trying to select just the right one is where it got difficult. I stumbled across some wonderful low-priced thank you items as well. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. That was a big savings. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had some shopping to do yet for the reception; the ceremony was pretty well set. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. The doves were really nice and they came in a very decorative package, so I didn’t have to buy favor boxes for them. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. I almost picked one out that had embossed silver intials and crystals, but after looking through a whole bunch of possibilities, I went with our mini bride and groom. With all of the rest of it out of the way, it was time to make the call on a present for my bridemaids. I did go with jewelry gift boxes for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It was just perfect for them even though it probably sounds like a bit much. I kept some money in my pocket by getting discount wedding jewelry that was very pretty, and there was much selection. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. I wonder if this could be the start of something big? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. You never know!

There are a load of options available to you if you want to host a baby shower, and that number is expanding as the popularity and size of showers gets larger and larger. The adorable little presents that everyone gets for baby showers make them a blast to attend. If you are planning to attend a shower and are looking for some super baby shower gifts ideas, there are a lot of options. If you go online you can find a whole world of thoughts about how to put together a baby shower and really cool presents to bring to them. The day can be everything you want it to be if you get the right supplies and accessories for the party. Things like shower gifts, place card holders, and everything in between is out there.
Are you interested in a baby shower gift to spice up the party? Something like a kid-themed cartoon photo book or growth chart for the wall, or even a teddy bear night-light would be an excellent choice if they’re looking for something to decorate the newborn’s room. Other creative baby shower gifts include such things as a diaper cake, which you make yourself by arranging diapers in layers like a cake and adding baby supplies, like pacifiers, little toys, or maybe even bath time supplies. This festive-looking cake can have almost anything for an infant added to it. Personalized baby shower gifts are always nice to give the mother to be. One of my favorite gifts for babies is the first tooth and curl containers. The boxes come plated with silver, and they are a wonderful thing for the mother to treasure. There are some that come with a lovely pink lining for girls and blue for boys. That’s something special to hang on to, just like their little footprints and handprints. Smaller gifts are wonderful, even though a lot of guests will want to give something like a crib or a stroller. You can find cheap baby shower gifts that are also very desirable. Certain supplies are like gold to a new mom. It’s pretty common that a number of guests will buy shoes or shirts or some kind of clothing for the infant as opposed to buying a larger, more costly present. One thing’s for sure: the new mom can use all of them.
The best baby shower gifts are often the ones you utilize every single day, like diapers, a diaper bag, or a baby carrier. There is a treasure trove of options out there on the world wide web if you’re looking to get a present for a woman who’s about to have a baby. Don’t forget to give your guests baby shower favors if you’re the hostess. Something like a tiny picture frame or a photo album would make great baby shower party gifts for a guest. Something a bit tastier would be candies or chocolates inside a pretty box with a ribbon. Baby shower favor ideas abound. Having contests is a fun thing to do at a baby shower, and you can get candles or soaps with baby designs on them to give away as awards for winning, and you can also use some of them for thank you gifts.
Checking on the web will give you all the ideas and choices you could want for baby shower gifts, no matter if you’re attending as a guest or if you’re the one who’s throwing the shower. I found my baby shower presents online, along with almost all of the items I needed for my wedding as well. No matter what the event, and no matter what your taste in presents, you will be able to find something you’ll like on the net.

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. If only the bridal or baby showers that family and friends gave you , or your wedding day could go on forever. That’s why my memory books are some of the most treasured items in our home. I have my girls night out wedding memory book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a fantastic wedding shower. I’ve got so many great pics of that very special night I shared with my friends. I’ve got pictures of the lovely decorations they had for my party and all the places we went that night, and all the fun things we did. The camera doesn’t lie: we had a blast. I’ve even got a couple pictures of the male dancers we went to see. They didn’t have any trouble holding our attention. That was my only foray into the world of exocitc dancers, and it was memorable. They weren’t the Chippendales, but they were really great to watch.
When I chose all the accessories and reception supplies for our wedding, I also made sure I had a memory book for our photos of the wedding and reception. There were an awful lot of photos to fill the pages. As a matter of fact, we had so many that I bought a pair of them, and it turns out that we needed both of them. Even after filling our wedding photo album with pictures there were still many photos left to find places for. On certain pages in one of the picture album books were places for the guests we invited to write their names down. Our last initial was on the front of our beautiful personalized memory books, with my first initial to the left of it and my husband’s to the right of it. The ribbon made of satin and the special fabric made the album have a very classy touch. Fortunately, you can add pages to them if you have to, which of course we did.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. I don’t throw out my keepsake memory books, so I’m sure I’ll accumulate more and more. Right now, I have my bachelorette book, my wedding book and my baby shower books. My daughter will be three in a few days and my son is only one. Since we knew what we were having each time, I was able to order a pink book for her and a blue one for him. Their first step and christening and so forth are in the books. We have fingerprints, birth certificates, and regular pictures of them in the baby memory books. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. I have so many memories stored in our closet that I could probably start my own picture gallery.
My husband complains all the time about the space these books take up on our closet shelf, but it’s like this, I want to hold on to all the great and special moments in our lives, and the best way to do this is through pictures. But all that is about to change soon, because I’m clearing a couple of shelves in the family room for all the home movies that I’ll be recording on the new camcorder I just bought. So now, with the albums we have and the ones we will probably have in the future and all the videos I plan to record, I’m probably going to need a lot more room than originally planned. Hey, a girls got to have her memories to look back on. These years ahead are really important to a mom and I don’t want to miss out on one minute of it.

Giving my relatives and friends a wonderful, unforgettable time on my wedding day was a top priority for me. So when I when to pick out gifts, I picked out things that they could remember it by. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. Eventually I got to a keepsake gift after picking out keepsake gifts. On the web, there are a ton of ideas and options for wedding and reception accessories and supplies. All of the things that I needed for my reception were there
My reception table centerpieces had flowers and scented candles surrounded by lace in a ceramic candle holder. I found those online along with the place card holders that were really exceptional too.
I elected to get place card holders with lovely beads on them that doubled as picture frames for everyone to take with them. I made up my mind that the people at my wedding woud get practical favors that, afterwards, would be wonderful wholesale keepsake gifts. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. Those kind of party favors just end up in the trash or sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. My loved ones were going to get something they’d genuinely appreciate, if I had anything to say about it. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. They attractive and you can get good use out of them, too. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
The Internet was a treasure trove of reception ideas and products. The cake topper we got ‘took the cake,’ so to speak. I wanted a cake topper that had some importance to us.
When we met for the first time, it was at a friends house and we were all engaged in a little friendly game of football on the back lawn. I got a couple in wedding garb in the middle of a football game to remind us that his first move on me was when he was trying to tackle me. When I look at the wedding cake topper, I think of both our wedding day and the day he first tried to tackle me. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

Planning a wedding and reception can be a very hectic and exciting time, filled with so many options on what to choose for themes, decorations, etc. I know that when I tried to assist my daughter in planning her wedding, the biggest challenge was trying to get her to settle on one choice. She had to select the kind of wedding she wanted to begin with, either one with a specific type of motif, or to go with a more standard type of ceremony. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. At first she thought about a garden wedding, and then she considered a beach themed wedding and reception. Having a standard wedding ceremony and reception was what my daughter decided, at last, would be the best option for her. Once she made up her mind at last, we got to work putting together the wedding.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. The wardrobe for both the bride and the wedding party had been picked out already, so we were able to zero in on things that we’d need in order to put on the reception. There were still a couple of accessories we needed to find, like her wedding guest book and wedding album. We looked through a great selection of guest book for weddings, some with so many lovely designs to choose from. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. We weren’t quite done picking things out yet and my daughter saw this wedding set with a white satin cover and bow, with rhinestones, that had six pieces. There was a lovely unity candle, ring pillow, flower basket and wedding garter. These satin items were together with a wedding photo guest book. It was astonishing to us to see that many charming accessories and supplies for so low a cost. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. The wedding album was ideal.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. Everything else was taken care of. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. My girl picked out small, shiny silver picture frames to use as place card holders at the reception dinner. She thought it was neat to give the guests something they could actually use after the dinner. The products she bought for her special day ended up being very good choices. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. My daughter and her new husband looked so wonderful as they danced their first dance as man and wife. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.

You can find so many ideas for thank you gifts for your guests that share you wedding and reception with you. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. I chose to go with candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. I bought hang tags that I found to be very special to go with the colorful favor boxes for everyones gift.
For each of our reception tables I ordered beautiful discount wedding candles, just for display. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. It’s not just weddings that have the candle gifts for, graduations, birthdays and many other themed events had candle party favors to choose from, and a really nice discount wedding candle for bridal shower parties too. There is all kinds of products where I shop, not just the beautiful candles, but I found everything for my wedding accessories and they also have supplies for other types of parties as well.
I bought a complete five piece wedding set which has a wedding guestbook and matching pen set, flower basket, ring pillow and a very nice wedding garter. Buying it in a set was less expensive than buying each piece individually. One of the best things about my online shopping store is the low cost, with so many items at discount prices, including candles wedding favors.
We ordered a customized wedding cake topper and expected to pay a lot more than we actually did for it. They made the wedding couple on our cake topper look exactly like us and it was the talk of the reception. They used head shots of me and my fiance to make the bride and groom figurines. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. There was no point in keeping them, what would I do with 200 champagne flutes? Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. One of the items in our five piece wedding set was the claret colored wedding guestbook with guest sign in pages, a place to list the gifts we received and a special spot for those little momentos. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You want to be able to mention the gift they gave you when writing out your thank you cards, it’s much more personal that way.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them. I guess I picked out the right gifts. We were told, by our guests, as we departed for our honeymoon, that it was a fantastic wedding and reception and they all hoped for the best for us. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.

The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. The first priority was finding a bachelorette party invitation. Now I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like bachelorette party invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

All the reception tables were set up with lovely mikasa crystal accessories at a wedding I attended last week. They had mikasa favors and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. What excellent taste the bride has in decorating a wedding and reception tables. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. The centerpieces she chose really helped to bring out the beauty of her reception tables. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. The favors boxes with the little thank you hang tags was almost as gorgeous as the mikasa crystal favors that were inside.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. Since she ordered most of her wedding supplies and decorations from an online wedding store, she decided to check out the cake toppers too, and found out they customize wedding cake toppers. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It was absolutely perfect. I had to find out where she ordered her wedding accessories from, the cake topper would be great for my mom and dads’ renewal wedding for their anniversary.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. Then watching them fall all over each other, trying to be the lucky guy to catch it. One guy didn’t want to be in the garter toss contest, but the other guys persuaded him to do so, and this sweet little widower in his 70’s walked away with the lace garter. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. As soon as the toast was finished, the happy couple took to the dance floor for the traditional bride and grooms first dance. Watching them dancing together, so elegantly, was so moving. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. I know I went overboard on the dancing, my feet hurt all night long.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. Looks like their honeymoon will be just as fabulous as their wedding was. We all stay for quite a while after the bride and groom left and partied ourselves into exhaustion.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. By the way, I did find out how she could afford a mikasa wedding and that fantastic cake topper. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.

In my day, jewelry boxes were just a box that all the jewelry went in, but now, you can buy watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes and boxes that are specifically made for necklaces only. There are a lot of very decorative ideas for the many different types of boxes. The women who stood up in my daughter’s wedding all got a jewelry box from her, and she picked one out for herself as well. She purchased a lot of things besides that, including her accesssories and reception supplies. No matter what look your going for at your wedding, a specific theme or a more customary look, you’ll find loads of suggestions there. My daughter and son in law chose to have a fairy tale themed wedding, with all the trimmings. They pulled it off in stunning fashion, her with long flowing veil and him with his extravagant tuxedo. It was a picturesque wedding. After the ceremony was over my daughter and son in law left the church in grand style with a horse drawn buggy and a driver dressed in a top hat and tails.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. An arch with green plants and red and white roses climbing up an arch stood behind the newlyweds’ table, while the wedding guests had at their tables an exquisite bouquet of flowers with sparkles that shimmered silver. She picked out tea light place card holders in the shape of silver doves that made the tables shine even more. All the lady guests received small jewelry boxes with sculpted flowers and little crystals to add to its beauty. All the guys got a key chain with a frog wearing a crown and royal robe on them, which represented the infamous frog prince. The girls that were in the wedding party got gorgeous wooden, silver plated affordable jewelry boxes that had black velvet lining. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The bridesmaids were very appreciative of what my daughter gave them as a thank you gift. The cheap jewelry box I saw looked like an extremely expensive jewelry box! The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
A tiny castle sitting at the top of the three-tiered wedding cake lent the cake a mystical appearance. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. Many of her decorations and supplies were top of the line, but she came in well below where I had expected on their wedding budget. As mother and father of the bride, we felt obligated to cover the cost of the wedding, but they were adamant about not accepting our assistance.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. You would have thought that it was a real princess tossing her garter the way the guys jostled for position to get it; it was a very amusing sight to behold. Everything turned out perfect and my little girl got the kind of wedding and reception she always dreamed of. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. I can hardly wait for them to get back and tell me all about the fantastic sights they saw.

After being told about a website that had reasonable prices and a super selection of accessories for both wedding ceremonies and receptions, I decided to take a look for myself. She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Of course, my wedding décor and the supplies I would need, I intended to buy there.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I ordered bottles of bubbles from this online shopping site I’m using and they also send you little bubble cards for each bottle.
The lovely accessories I ordered were unbelievable. I was able to find gifts for not only my bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy, but for everyone in our wedding party. My fiance found quite a few gift ideas for groomsmen gift ideas.
The groomsman favors of his choosing were glass mugs that had the word groomsman printed on the mug. We could cross off the list of things to buy as far as a cheap groomsman gift, my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party, so I could now choose thank you gifts for the guests. There were an awful lot of winter wonderland wedding favors to choose from for our reception. The wedding favors I chose were glass winter votive candles with a wintery frosted look for everyone attending the reception. They each had little silver snowflakes as decoration. They each came in their own little favor box with a silver hang tag.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. I asked the baker to turn our top layer of the wedding cake into a ski slope, since the topper I picked was of a bride and groom on skis. Our wedding cake was confection perfection and I wanted as many pictures of it as I could get for our beautiful winter wedding album. After we cut the cake and had our toast done by my super brother in law, it was time for our bride and groom dance. I really felt like a princess in some kind of dream world while we glided across the floor, with everyone watching.
Everyone was having a fantastic time and this reception was perfection from beginning to end. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Many of the guests at the reception commented on how lovely the winter wedding reception was and how much they appreciated the lovely wedding favors.
