The Party Thai

After we decided on a wedding date, I started going through every bridal fashion magazine I could get my hands on. Then I thought about going online to look for my bridal accessories. After all I’ve shopped online before for many items and products I’ve wanted, so why not my wedding and reception supplies. It’s a good thing I did. They had everything from invitations to beautiful bridal hair accessories.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. Our friends and us have spent many days on the beach, since we were kids, growing up here and it seemed like the perfect place for our wedding.
I immediately picked out our beach wedding invitations and made sure our potential guests received them promptly. Everyone answered with a definite yes, and everyone seemed really excited about sharing this day with us. Now, since the invitations were taken care of, I could concentrate on finding the I wanted for my wedding. Even though I shop online all the time, I never expected to find such a big selection of wedding accessories. The first thing ordered was the exquisite hair comb and tiara to wear on my wedding day. The wedding jewelry I found was just as gorgeous as the hair accessories I chose. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. The pearls and crystals on the necklace set really added to the elegance of my wedding dress.
There was so much in the way of a brides wedding accessories that was absolutely exquisite and the best part was, it wasn’t all that expensive. There were even a lot of honeymoon accessories available that I ordered. A short wedding dress would have probably been the wiser choice, since we were getting married on the beach, but I had to have my full length dress. There were satin summer dresses for my bridesmaids and my flower girl, that had a knee length hemline. Everyone of them looked stunning and my flower girl was so adorable.
Our reception tables were all set up on the beach with tiki torches scattered all around and lights strung up by the make shift dance floor we had. The reception tables had been decorated in an oceanside motif and the little sailboat place card holders was a great addition. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received.
Our wedding table was beautifully set with beach themed champagne flutes, little beach tealights and lovely beach themed candles and holders. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. For those that weren’t into seafood, we made sure we had plenty of steaks and chicken for them. We all had a wonderful time enjoying good food and good music to dance too. If it wasn’t for going on our honeymoon, I never would have left our terrific beach party.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon I got out my beautiful beach themed wedding guest book and started writing thank you cards to our friends and family. My beach themed picture album has all the memories within its beautiful covers for me to enjoy anytime I want to look back on our special beach wedding and reception.

There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. The wedding favors I chose were lovely photo frames with a beach design, because I thought they were so pretty and I know that’s something that they can always use. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.

On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. Our topper was a bride and groom taking a walk along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. We danced, ate tons of seafood, like shrimp, crab, lobster and of course we had other foods for those that didn’t like seafood. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. I kinda hated to leave the party for our honeymoon, everyone was having such a great time.

After we returned from our honeymoon, I had to get down to writing all the thank you notes to our guests. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
