I got a wedding memory book

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to the memories of. I have photo memory books that I really cherish to help my relive those special days over and over again. I have my girls night out wedding book from the night my mom and my friends threw me a exquisite wedding shower. I’ve got so many precious pics of that very special night I shared with my friends. I have shots of all the crazy stuff we got into that night, along with some of how gorgeous-looking the décor of the party was. We really had a wild time and I’ve got super photos to prove it. I’ve even got a couple pictures of the male dancers we went to see. They knew how to work the crowd. I won’t soon forget my only night watching men dance like that. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
I got a wedding memory book along with everything else I was buying when I was preparing for our wedding. We had no shortage of pictures to put in it. As a matter of fact, we had so many that I bought a pair of them, and it turns out that we needed both of them. I ran out of space in the albums before the pictures were all filed. On certain pages in one of the picture album books were places for the guests we invited to write their names down. Our last initial was on the front of our beautiful personalized memory books, with my first initial to the left of it and my husband’s to the right of it. These books have such a look of elegance with it’s satin ribbon and gorgeous fabric. We had to get more pages for them, and they offer a supply for that too.
A lot of life-changing events are recorded in my photo albums. The number of keepsake memory books I have will only go up since I hang on to them all. At the moment, I have books from my baby shower, wedding, and bachelorette party. I have a little girl that’s turning three next week and a little baby boy that is only one year old. Since we knew what we were having each time, I was able to order a pink book for her and a blue one for him. Their first step and christening and so forth are in the books. I also keep their birth certificates and footprints in their baby memory books along with several pictures of their beautiful little faces. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. I have so many memories stored in our closet that I could probably start my own picture gallery.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. Of course, now I’m going to be shooting home videos on a camcorder that I recently purchased, so I’m focusing on making space on some shelving in the living room. With all the videos I plan to record and all the picture albums and memory books I’ve acquired, not to mention all that I intend to aquire, I’ll probably have to make more room in other closets around the house. What can I say, my recollections of the past mean a lot to me. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.
